I always love using towel drill for my pitchers, but i also love using towel drill for my outfielders and infielders to help find their release points. One of my college players has been struggling this fall with hitting his cut off man, short throws have been killing him. So we did some towel drill in the outfield to help him find his release point. I of course left my Towel Trainer at home but i had a t-shirt we used as a replacement and it works the same. Great drill for the outfielders! Stand to the side in front of the fielder with a target area in front of him for his release point. When the fielder starts the drill, have him still looking at the Cut off man target while still having the release point target in his sight to help him find the release point.
