Another weekend of SYTF football is in the books! Our Sandwich Indians took on the Bradley Lions, and our athletes worked hard and battled all day long! 💪🏈

👏 Congratulations to our SL team on their 19–0 shutout victory and a big shoutout to our Dynos for putting 3 touchdowns on the board!

We had such a great time seeing our SYTF football players and cheerleaders out under the Friday night lights with Sandwich High School! 🏈📣

From joining the high school athletes for the National Anthem to having all of our SYTF teams recognized at halftime, it was so much fun seeing our Rising Tribe through Varsity athletes showing off their Sandwich pride! 🧡🤍🖤

A huge THANK YOU to Sandwich High School, the coaches, volunteers, parents, and everyone who helped make Orange Out run smoothly. We loved seeing the stands and sidelines filled with ORANGE! 🧡

📅 Friday, August 28

We’re excited to have our SYTF football players and cheerleaders join Sandwich High School for Orange Out Night! 🏈📣

Participation in all SYTF Orange Out activities is optional and not mandatory.

🇺🇸 JV & VARSITY — NATIONAL ANTHEM

JV & Varsity Football and Cheer athletes who would like to participate in the National Anthem:

🕡 Be ready to line up at 6:30 PM
📍 Meet at the black shed on the East side of the field

JV & Varsity SYTF athletes will join the Sandwich High School football players and cheerleaders on the field for the National Anthem. After the anthem, SYTF athletes will exit the field as directed.

🎟️ FREE ADMISSION FOR SYTF ATHLETES

To receive free admission:

🏈 Football: Wear your orange SYTF jersey
📣 Cheer: Wear your SYTF cheer skirt with a Sandwich/SYTF spirit wear shirt
🧡 This includes Rising Tribe Cheer!

📣 HALFTIME — SYTF INTRODUCTIONS

All SYTF athletes participating in halftime introductions should meet behind the ticket booth, between the softball fields, at the BEGINNING OF THE 2ND QUARTER of the Varsity game.

Parents should bring their athlete directly to their team’s coach at the ticket booth.

⚠️ IMPORTANT PARENT INFORMATION

Once your athlete has been brought to and checked in with their coach, coaches will be responsible for athletes during lineup and the introduction walk only.

After their team completes the walk, athletes MUST be picked up by a parent/guardian.

Athletes may NOT run around or leave their designated standing/lineup area while waiting to be introduced. Please make sure your child understands that they must remain with their team and follow their coaches’ directions at all times.

Teams will line up beginning closest to the SYTF sideline:

🚶 INTRODUCTION ROUTE

Grass Lineup ➡️ Track ➡️ West-Side Gate by Haskins ➡️ Sidewalk Behind the Bleachers ➡️ Ticket Booth/Pickup Area

🧡 Rising Tribe Cheer will be announced first and begin the procession.
🖤 Each team will follow in the lineup order as they are announced.
🤍 Athletes will walk the track toward the west-side gate near Haskins.
🧡 Adults/volunteers will be stationed along the route to help direct athletes.
🖤 Athletes will exit through the gate and follow the sidewalk behind the bleachers back toward the ticket booth area.

🚨 PARENTS: Please be ready to pick up your athlete behind the ticket booth immediately after their team completes the walk.

Once athletes have completed the walk and returned to the pickup area, coaches are no longer responsible for them.
