We are a little behind on some big things we have been doing over at Freak Animal Fitness but we have been busy! The month of Jume was crazy with Brittany smashing Nationals and taking home the win and that bad ass belt.
Marshall and Rios headed out to Ukraine 🇺🇦 for the Ukraine Grand Prix where he took 3rd place and was invited by the Germans to be their 3rd man in the European Team Championships where they took 4th place. Big thanks to our whole team for helping one another prepare for these major contest both mentally and physically!

4th place in Masters Women’s.
Kevin Crewse-Pinedo 2nd place in Open Middleweight.
Mike Rios 2nd place in Masters Middleweight (PR on farmers handles)
Eric Schmidt 1st place in Masters Middleweight.
Steve Islas 3rd place in Masters Heavyweight.

Over the weekend some of the crew competed at Beast Strong Powerhouse, in the Viking Strong Competition. It was, as always a great atmosphere and a very well run competition. Our young men(Aidan McBride and Aiden Rios) did and amazing job in their 1st competition taking 2nd and 3rd, while Titan was invited to showcase his strength as a guest lifter. Eric Schmidt and Steve Islas battled it out in the Masters Division taking 1st and 2nd. Thank you to the rest of the crew that came out to support and cheer on our friends, family, and athletes!

Taking a look back to the Copper State Strongman a couple weekends ago out here in Arizona. The crew set some PRs and took home some hardware.
Personal Records..Steve Islas: 500 lb deadlift, 275lb sand bag for 50' and bus pull for in 36 seconds.
Eric Schmidt: 230lb log and 500lb deadlift
Podium finish..Marshall Zinn (1st) and Kevin Crewse-Pinedo (3rd) in the 231lb Middleweight Class
