Rebecca Farm Bodywork Sessions | July 14 & 15

Bringing your horse across the country is an incredible accomplishment, but long hours in a trailer can leave the body feeling stiff, guarded, and compensating before competition even begins.

I’ll be at Rebecca Farm on July 14 & 15 offering Integrated Equine Bodywork designed to help your horse settle into their body before they step into the ring.

Whether you’ve hauled from the next state over or across the country, these sessions are focused on:
• Releasing tension from travel
• Improving mobility and comfort
• Supporting nervous system regulation
• Identifying compensation patterns before they become performance limitations
• Helping your horse feel their best going into competition

Every horse is different. Some need help unwinding after the haul. Others simply benefit from a tune up before asking their bodies to perform at their highest level.

One of the biggest lessons this work has taught me is that horses don’t see the world the way we do. They don’t care about trends, opinions, or what everyone else at the barn is doing. They care about what their body needs.

These are some of the messages that have come through again and again over the years, regardless of discipline or breed.

Which one do you think is the hardest for horse owners to hear? Or has your horse taught you something that completely changed your perspective? I’d love to hear it.

Surely I’m not the only one who grew up dreaming of a big horse show career… only to have that dream take a completely different path because I started with a Thoroughbred I brought along from scratch.

The truth is, you only know what you know. You do the best you can with the knowledge you have at the time.

If I had the tools back then that I have now, our entire relationship would have looked different. That horse would have walked through fire for me, but I didn’t yet understand the depth of why we had found each other in the first place.

Learning the deeper meaning behind my soul contract with Mojave has taken so much pressure off chasing lofty goals I thought mattered most. Not because we don’t still have them, but because I’ve realized what we have together is worth so much more.

These days, I’ll take my horse choosing to leave his hay just to come play with me over a blue ribbon any day.

Seeing one of my Equine Soul Connection Talisman Sets under the Eiffel Tower wasn’t on my bingo card.

When I started Spirit Horse Collective, I wasn’t thinking about horse shows or big stages. I was thinking about the relationship we have with our horses and how much they shape us if we’re willing to listen. The talismans were created as a tangible reminder of that connection and a way to help us work through energetic blocks, moments, and stages of life.

I think sometimes people assume this work is only for horses that are struggling or owners looking for answers. The truth is that connection matters just as much when things are going well. Maybe even more.

Whether you’re riding in your backyard, navigating a rehab journey, or competing at the highest levels of the sport, the relationship is always the foundation.

It’s pretty cool to see something that started as a small idea at my kitchen table make its way around the world.
What's even cooler is seeing top riders in the sport like Lillie Keenan prioritizing their horse's health and well being above all else.
