My friend, classmate, and student, and I at Washington Square Park in San Francisco on Jan. 11, 2026. Helping Joyce with the Yang Style Ling Form Sword (approximately 65~ postures).
It was a fine day to be in the park and practice some Tai Chi!
The swords always get varying reactions from passersby, especially the tourists... 😎

Sifu Kwong Wing Lam was my instructor, Sifu Johnny Jang's instructor.

After completing the Hung Gar and Shaolin systems, Sifu Kwong Wing Lam spent another ten years learning other styles including Five Animal Fist, Praying Mantis, Ha Say Fu Hung Gar, and Wing Tsun. He studied with such notable masters as Leung Hua Chu and Lum Jow.
