Shihan Ed Hamile's West Coast Shotokan Karate Association Respect, But Fear No Man Shotokan Karate School founded in 1968 by Shihan Edwin Hamile, 9th Dan. The dojo is still guided by Shihan's five Senseis.

Sensei Randy and Will provide their background:

Sensei Randy started training in 1976. By the early eighties, he taught as an assistant instructor and helped Shihan Hamile conduct seminars and exams around the US and the world, he continued on and conducted special classes in Women's Rape Awareness and Self Defense. He also provided special seminars for grade schools, local government and law enf

orcement agencies. Sensei Randy still conducts seminars around the world today. He hold's a 6th degree black belt in Shotokan Karate. Sensei Will have been in martial arts for over 50 years and hold 5th degree black belt in Shotokan Karate. He studied Shorenji Kenpo in Japan in the late 1970s while teaching English. He also studied karate under the late Sensei Nakayama and Sensei Kagawa Masao. In the early 90s he practiced taiji chuan and jeekundo with Dr. Dan Lee and Wing chung with Shifu Richard Tsim. He also practiced aikido for about two years with Sensei Takahashi. He retired as a Japanese language and English teacher.
