Hi. We’re Lynn and Kate, the founders of TallWater Jeans. We are best friends, twin sisters, and we are tall.
6‘2” and 6‘3” with 37” inseams, to be exact.

And that’s without heels. We think being tall is a blessing. It makes you unique. It gives you an advantage in sports. It makes you stand out, in a good way. But being built differently than the rest of the world has its disadvantages too. Especially if you like to wear cute shoes that aren’t flats, pants that go past your ankles, and jeans that don’t show the entire world the top of your underwea

r (or worse). We’ve been frustrated since we were teenagers with the lack of stylish clothing options for tall frames. We’ve spent years scouring websites and stores from around the world for the perfect pair of tall jeans, and all we ever found was disappointment. Even if you do find that rare extra-long inseam, chances are the rise of the jean didn’t change in proportion to the length, so your ankles are covered, but the waist is so low that you have to choose between standing all night or showing everyone your plumber’s crack. The truth is, you can’t take a pattern that was designed for someone who’s 5’7” and just enlarge it for someone who is 6’2”. It’s a different body type all together. You need to start from scratch. And since almost nobody else seemed to be willing to do that, we decided to do it ourselves. For the last two years, we’ve been on a mission to build the perfect pair of tall jeans, and we couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve created. TallWater Jeans are correctly proportioned for a tall woman’s body, with longer length, wider leg openings, and taller rise and run. They’re made of high quality denim, in figure- flattering cuts and washes. And they’re made in America, too. We’re beyond excited about our first line. We love the jeans. We love the fit. And we hope you will too.

Lindsay (pictured), who clocks in at 6'9", is a former actress and wrestler, as well as one of the stars of the new five-part series, My Giant Life, which premieres on July 14 on TLC.
