This Saturday, we paddle out for something bigger than surfing.

San Diego Surf & Sail is honored to volunteer at Surf For Our Neighborhood, a community event offering free surf lessons to kids from under‑resourced communities — powered by For Our Neighborhood and The JARO Project.

We’ll be on the sand and in the water helping kids:
🌊 Learn ocean safety

🤙 Build confidence
💛 Create memories that last

More Than Just a Surf Lesson

Surfing and the ocean have changed my life — not just through the act of surfing, but through what the ocean has taught me and the lessons and connections that carry into everyday life.

Through my work with San Diego Surf & Sail, I’m bringing a different kind of surf experience to the water. This isn’t just about standing up on a board. It’s about learning how to slow down, breathe deeper, build confidence, and reconnect with something bigger than yourself.

I combine professional surf instruction with mindfulness, movement awareness, and ocean respect. Whether you’re brand new to surfing or looking to deepen your relationship with it, my goal is to create an experience that leaves you stronger — physically and mentally.
