To do that, the young people are the key recipients of the torch that will bring light to this dark world. Hopeful Run was conceived in the Phillippines and birthed in the City of Santiago in Isabela on March 22, 2014. A group of cause oriented & faithful people took it upon themselves to embrace this endeavor to promote healthy, GOD-honoring living. It aims to reach out to the lost, raise funds
to save the young, help sustain the operation of FEFAM & strengthen its presence in San Diego County (Fellowship of Evangelical Filipino-American Ministers-a registered non-profit organization) and enhance camaraderie among the believers of Jesus Christ. This year, with the Inaugural Hopeful Run here in San Diego, FEFAM partnered with Tabalikum (A Youth Ministry) to raise funds and support local YOUTH in our community. Hopeful Run 2015 will be a timed, close-loop, fast and flat 5K course that winds around the beautiful Preble Field Park at the old Naval Training Center in Point Loma. There is a limit of 2000 runners and walkers with a t-shirt and a finisher medal for all registered participants! Men and women, young and old, from all walks of life who are able to walk or run are encouraged to take part of this happy, healthy & GOD-honoring event. Be part of history! Run towards the Cross!
