As dancers, we’ve all heard this at some point in our journey….

Just want to your friendly reminder to F the haters & DO YOU ❤️‍🔥 No matter what you do in life, there will always be someone who is going to have a strong opinion, so you might as well look good doing it 😏

In all seriousness, I feel us “heels dancers” are always misunderstood or categorized into a group where people think we just dance, post, and wear certain outfits for attention. When in fact, I feel like it’s the complete opposite. 🤣 Do we love attention, yes ofc course, that normal & natural from any human being. But when it comes to dance, I feel like most of us post or wear the things we do for THE PLEASURE of ourselves bc it MAKES US FEEL GOOD 💅🏼

If this is a problem please, I encourage you to dig a little deeper to try and understand why another persons desires or hobbies are bothering you. We all deserve to feel good, look good, and do good in life. 👏🏼

🦋 When confidence is flaunted it can be intimidating or interpreted wrong, but as long as you’re doing it for you, there’s no wrong in shining your light 🫶🏼
