Foosball player ranking point system:
I was contacted about the issue with the new point system or ranking system of IFP lately and read the threads.
Here is the issue. IFP is finally getting to the player database of foosaball players on past and present, and attempting to get "caught up". I have had this private discussion with Mary Moore, and she was right up front and honest about it to me on the phone. I really can't blame her.
That was two years ago, because I was surprised I am rank as amateur. She did explain it to me. I understood.
Now that she is established this new point system and if you don't agree with it, you can always work it out with Mary. The other issue, why would rather be a rookie than a amateur status on the tour. You should be happy about that.
There are some that I have chatted with that say to me "I am what a Amateur now? than I was higher ranked?".
Now let's take that in thought. Does anything matter about your ranking than just your entry fee money amount you have to pay for your "status quo" ranking?
Not really! So, where does ranking at amateur, rookie or beginners has anything to do with you ability to play foosball. Does it have to do with "self esteem or pride?". I am not sure, nor will I judge you on that. The ranking point system has to be updated and it always changes to the professional sports system. It makes room for other new players to fit in place of the ranking system. There is over 8,000 foosball players that have not bee "officially ranked" by a committee that oversees the ranking system. That is usually done by the players board committee as well the player representatives. It is overseen by the commissioner of the foosball organization within that organization. If it was done by a CEO of foosball, it would be not the right thing to do.
Are you understanding it now a bit? Because now most of you all are thinking it is "biased" ranking system by point system.
