i want to apologize to all the women
i have called pretty
before i've called them intelligent or brave
i am sorry i made it sound as though
something as simple as what you're born with
is the most you have to be proud of when your
spirit has crushed mountains
from no on i will say things like
you are resilient or you are extraordinary
not because i don't think you're pretty
but because you are so much more than than.

I also want to apologize to myself for thinking that being “fit” or “pretty” is an accomplishment.
My spirituality teaches me to step out of the physical and out of the ego and into the essence and energy of the present moment. NOW. LOVE.
I am a successful entrepreneur, business woman, head of a household, a mother, a friend, a confidant, someone who helps change peoples lives, an artist, a loving partner, a daughter, an investor, a dreamer and so much more that I don't always give myself credit for.
I love deeply, am emotional and am always seeking to learn more about myself and life and what’s beyond.
To my Mother, and to all the women I know and love who have impacted my life. Please take the time to celebrate yourself and all the hats you wear and all the roles you play and all the joy and love you spread.
You are extraordinary and please know that your drive, ambition and honest friendships have also shaped and inspired me into the strong, independent woman I am today. I couldn’t do it without my girls.
Empowered women, empower women.
