I've never shared this video publicly, but here goes!😬😬😬

In honor of Zumba Fitness's 25th birthday, we're taking t WAY back to the first time I led a Zumba® class at Patch Barracks in Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Germany! I didn't have any Z-wear, but I had the passion and my Zumba Mama trusted me with her class while she was out!

Sixteen years later and Zumba is still a very big part of my life. I've traveled around the world teaching, and I still love my weekly classes. Looking back on this video reminds me how far I've come, and how much the entire Zumba program has evolved over time.

Dear Zumba Family,

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the passing of our sweet Yolanda.

Yolanda was a Zumba instructor whose smile and beautiful energy could light up any room. Whether she was attending Jam Sessions, showing up to classes, or supporting our events for Los Jefes and our mission for veterans facing PTSD and su***de prevention, she was always there, cheering, dancing, encouraging, and loving on everyone around her.

She believed in community. She believed in showing up. And she showed up with her whole heart.

Right now, her family needs that same love and support wrapped around them.
