San Diego State University ranked No. 16 on Forbes’ 2023 Top 25 Public Colleges in the US and No. 43 in the magazine's annual top 500 colleges list.

This is a huge accomplishment as seven California campuses ranked in the top 25, with SDSU being the only CSU to make it in the top 25 while competing against some of the oldest and most exceptional public colleges.

Not exactly how we wanted to end the tournament but a great game against host UCLA. Thankful for the CWPA in giving us the bid to attend and play another four games for our season, all of which were hard fought!

What a season finishing 10th at Nationals! B team finishing 4th in the Southwest Conference. New assistant coach Madison who stepped up and coached solo through the last 3+ weeks of the season. Coaching the Southwest Tournament and Nationals. As Head Coach Jamie welcomed her first child April 24th.

2022-2023 was a year to be remembered! We got to get back to normal with no covid, we hosted a fall invite and conference tournament. Advanced back to the National Championship tournament and now we just have to get through finals. Celebrate our graduating seniors!

Today we conclude the tournament by playing UCLA for 9th place, best possible finish available with the tournament set up after falling in OT to UCSB in our opening game. UCSB is playing for the National Title today.

After a tough OT loss to UCSB to open the tournament. Your Lady Aztecs bounced back to beat FSU. Setting the team up to play at 12:30 Saturday.

Where they will look for another win. Which would place them into the 9th place game, highest can get after the OT loss, as the tournament is not seeded on ranking and has no way to win your way back into the winners bracket.

Well we were finally able to get back at it this season. It was not a full year we were unable to play in any tournaments in the fall or host our big invitational fundraiser. But we were happy to play the entire Collegiate Water Polo Association Southwest Season.

For having no pre-season games, we jumped right into it with conference play. The season went well. The A team finished 3rd overall having some tough losses to ASU and UCSD. The B team finished the season in 5th place, having some epic wins. Crazy overtimes, playing down almost a full half, scoring from half with no time on the clock. For all the good reasons it was a season to remember and we managed to avoid the dreaded covid with a little hard work and as the board would tell you ALOT of paperwork.

The season is not ending with us playing at Nationals, but we are still walking away with some awesome awards. We won "SDSU Sports Club Team of the Year" and Coach Jamie was awarded "SDSU Sports Club Coach of the Year".

Being unable to host the fall invite hurt us, as that is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We are working with the Alumni foundation on a crowd funding to end the season. Please help us start 2022-2023 season off strong, any and all donations are appreciated!
