Mountain Empire SK8 Park Committee and the Jacumba Community Service District have joined together in the effort to build a skate park in Jacumba for our "Mountain Empire Youth". Due to our location, we have very little organizations and activities available for our youth. This project is a great opportunity for our youth to work for something that instills work ethic, responsibility, and home tow

n pride. Our youth are involved in the logos, ramps, ramp placement and overall design of the skate park and all fundraisers. We are continuously looking for local businesses and organizations who are interested in contributing to the welfare of our minors. They have the exhilaration and desire to learn and participate in the sport of skateboarding. With your support, the youth will be able to enjoy and utilize the park that they aided in designing.

Come join us at the Fall Festival today!!! I will be there selling skatepark t-shirts, sweatshirts and decks at a discounted price. I will also have a sign up sheet for those interested in attending meetings to help with the design, building and fundraising of the skatepark. See ya there! 🛹

Okay, well here I go again! Everyone that knows me well knows that I like to take on multiple projects and help the youth of our community as much as possible; so here is my last attempt to finish what I started years ago. Who's in??? Let's get a skatepark built!!!
