Where to find info about the upcoming Farragut Open 2023 Disc Golf Tournament!

Cards have been posted! If you do not see your name assigned to a card, you need to see the Tournament director in the morning before 8am. This is required to play. Udisc account will be needed as well.

Just an FYI and PSA upon entering Farragut State Park… EVERYONE* is required to purchase a day pass when utilizing the park, whether playing disc golf, hiking or camping.

Even if you paid the $40 to camp for 4 days with us at Scott Group Campground, it is a separate fee you must still pay. You do not pay us, you pay at the Ranger Station or one of the kiosks.

*This is per vehicle, not per person. You’re welcome to park at Super 1 that is 4 miles away and carpool in with other players.

Please don’t ignore this as the Rangers do check every vehicle parked and will ticket you with a fine.

If you have an Idaho State Park Pass you do not have to pay this fee!!!

Starting next week Tuesday, September 12 through Tuesday, September 19, ALL competitors and 1 Caddy per person can go play Caliber Disc Golf, the 5th ranked course in the World for just $10 on those days.
With 1 round a golf per day for the Tournament, you’ll have time if you want to go play…
We can’t thank Paul & Jill Stiller enough for their kindness and support over the years.
I highly recommend staying for the Waffle on Sunday after the last round finishes, there will be lots of Caliber goodies and swag to WIN!!!

Anyone can come play, you don’t have to be playing in the Tournament! Just be aware with a Flex Start that Winners won’t be concluded until after 7pm that night so you will have to come back to collect winnings sometime over the 3 days.

Yes we were originally shooting for a late afternoon Random Doubles round initially, but with losing light and the ability to have it done without players finishing in the dark this was the best option!!

So there’s some GOOD NEWS and BAD NEWS…

Good news #1 is we’re extending the registration of the 2023 Farragut Open into July. We’ve heard about all the financial woes from many and we totally get it, sign up when you can (ASAP) we’re extending it to help.

Bad news is if we don’t get more Pro’s to sign up (there’s only 24) we will not be adding $3K added cash to payout for this little of people. Sorry, but not having the AM’s entries pay for any of that. All Pro’s will be let known in plenty of time to drop and receive full refunds if this occurs, no questions asked. I totally understand, I’d be upset too. My goal is still the 3K, but at this point there’s no way we could pull it off. You also have to understand in years past this event signed up over 400 people within minutes and now clearly it being Unsanctioned has deterred the masses from wanting to participate at all. Or they really all have no money right now. Or 3 days of Disc Golf is hard for job and family, I get it. That’s fine, to be honest I’d be lying if I said throwing a 4 day event for 400+ people is easy to swing. I’d also be lying if I didn’t say I was looking forward to a much smaller Tourney, but that being said I’m also giving the opportunity for it to be as big as it is normally because I LOVE doing it!!! SIGN UP!!
