This Is It, like Michael Jackson… THIS IS IT!

One final tournament together as an 8U family. One last opportunity to wear this jersey as this team, take the field together, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

This weekend, our Bombers STX Junior Academy 8U Black heads to USSSA Southern Nationals in Frisco, Texas, and while we’re coming to compete, we’re also taking a moment to appreciate just how special this season has been.

These girls came together as teammates… but they’re leaving as sisters.

They’ve celebrated victories, fought through adversity, learned from heartbreak, picked each other up after tough losses, and reminded us time and time again what it means to play for something bigger than yourself. They’ve grown not only as softball players, but as young ladies with character, grit, and heart.

To our players…
Play fearless.
Play together.
Trust each other.
Smile through every inning.
Soak in every moment, because this chapter only happens once.

To our coaches…
Thank you for every lesson, every practice, every late night, every word of encouragement, and for believing in these girls even before they believed in themselves.

To our Bombers families…
Thank you for every mile traveled, every early morning, every hotel stay, every packed cooler, every load of laundry, every loud cheer from the stands, and every sacrifice made to give these girls an unforgettable season. None of this happens without you.

Now… it’s time.

Let’s finish this season the Bombers way—with relentless effort, unwavering heart, and complete belief in one another.

Just thirteen girls, one family, and one last opportunity to leave everything they have on that field.

🖤🩵 Happy Father’s Day from Bombers STX Junior Academy 8U Black 🩵🖤

Today, we celebrate the men who make this journey possible.

To our dads,, grandfathers, uncles, coaches, and father figures—thank you.

Thank you for the early mornings, the long weekends, the endless miles on the road, and the countless hours spent at the ballpark. Thank you for hauling gear, throwing batting practice, working with pitchers and catchers, chasing foul balls, setting up fields, and always being there when your girls need you.

Thank you for every sacrifice you make so these girls have the opportunity to play the game they love.

You are the first coaches they ever had. The ones teaching them to work hard, stay humble, get back up after failure, and never quit when things get tough. The lessons you teach go far beyond softball and help shape the young women they are becoming.

To our coaches, thank you for investing your time, energy, and knowledge into every player. Your commitment to these girls does not go unnoticed.

To our grandfathers and uncles, thank you for showing up, cheering loudly, and loving these girls as if they were your own.

The memories being made on these fields will last a lifetime, and so much of that is because of the men standing behind them every step of the way.

What a weekend. 💙🖤🥎

Our girls battled their hearts out at the Jennie Finch World Series and finished 6th out of 22 incredible teams. While the placement is something to be proud of, what makes me even prouder is the way these girls competed, supported one another, and represented our organization every single game.

The defense was locked in all weekend long. From clutch infield plays to diving catches in the outfield, our girls left everything they had on the field. The bats stayed hot, the energy never faded, and the stands were filled with loud, proud families cheering them on every step of the way. This weekend, we truly played as one team and one family.

As we celebrate this accomplishment, it also marks the end of an era. This was Head Coach Zach’s final tournament with our team. While we’re sad to see him go, we are incredibly grateful for the time, dedication, and commitment he gave to these girls. Thank you for helping lay the foundation, setting the standard, and pouring into each player along the way. We wish you nothing but success in your next chapter as you focus on coaching your daughter, Trinity. She is blessed to have you in her corner, and we know you’ll continue to do great things together.

A special thank you to Coach Nick, Coach Ram, and Coach Angelo for your continued support, leadership, and belief in these girls. Your time, energy, and dedication never go unnoticed.

Now we have one more tournament left together before tryouts begin. One more weekend to compete. One more weekend to make memories. One more opportunity to leave it all on the field with this special group of girls.

We’re not coming for a vacation—we’re coming to compete. We’re coming with loud bats, locked-in defense, and a team full of girls who never quit. This group has fought for every win, every inning, and every opportunity all season long, and they’re not done yet.

The road to the Jennie Finch World Series starts NOW!

Tomorrow, our Bombers STX Junior Academy 8U Black squad is loading up and heading from San Antonio, Texas to Sulphur, Louisiana to compete against some of the best teams in the country. 🌎🥎

These girls have put in the work.
They’ve battled through the heat.
They’ve practiced, learned, grown, and fought together as a family all season long.

Now it’s time to take the field and represent San Antonio on one of the biggest stages in youth softball.

107 teams.
22 teams in the 8U division.
One goal.

What a special evening for our girls and families as we celebrated our Bombers STX Junior Academy 8U Black send-off dinner before heading to Sulphur, Louisiana for the Jennie Finch World Series! 💙🖤🥎

A huge thank you to La Hacienda Los Barrios for the great atmosphere, delicious food, and hospitality. The girls had an absolute blast dancing, laughing, making memories, and enjoying one last team celebration before we hit the road.

Tonight was about more than softball. It was about family, friendships, commitment, and recognizing the incredible people who make this team what it is.

To our coaches — Coach Zach, Coach Nick, Coach Ram, and Coach Angelo — thank you for the countless hours, sacrifices, patience, and dedication you’ve poured into these girls. We were honored to present you with a small token of our appreciation tonight. Your impact extends far beyond the softball field, and we are grateful for everything you do.

To our parents — thank you for every early morning, every late night, every road trip, every practice, every fundraiser, every cheer from the stands, and every sacrifice made for these girls. It truly takes a village, and this team is blessed with an amazing one. Your support, commitment, and belief in these athletes have helped create something special.

To our Bombers family and our Director, Nathan Nate Rodriguez, thank you for building a culture that players and families are proud to be a part of. Thank you for your leadership, vision, and commitment to developing young athletes both on and off the field. We are proud to wear Bombers across our chest and proud to represent this organization. We are all in and will continue supporting the culture that makes Bombers special.

And finally, to our girls…

This is your moment.

You’ve worked hard, battled through wins and losses, learned lessons, grown as players, and grown even more as teammates. As we head to Louisiana, remember that no trophy defines who you are. Play for each other. Trust one another. Compete with confidence. Leave everything you have on the field. Play with heart, play with grit, and most importantly, play as one team.

Make memories. Have fun. Be fearless.

No matter what happens this week, know that we are already proud of you.

What a weekend for these girls! 💣🥎

There is no doubt that the bats were alive this weekend. The Bombers battled hard, stayed undefeated throughout pool play and bracket play, and fought their way all the way to the Championship Game.

While we came home with a second-place finish, we couldn’t be more proud of the effort, determination, and heart these girls showed. They competed in the Texas heat, never stopped fighting, and left everything they had on the field.

As proud as we are, we also know there is still work to do. Great teams aren’t built overnight—they’re built through hard work, accountability, trust, and playing for one another. Talent can win games, but teamwork wins championships.

So it’s time to get back to the lab. Time to keep learning, keep growing, and keep building. The Jennie Finch World Series is right around the corner, and before we know it, 10U will be here. The future is bright, but we’re not satisfied yet.

Keep your heads up, girls. Be proud of what you accomplished this weekend, then get ready for what’s next. The work continues. 💪💙
