2024 CRAW-FLING CLASSIC IS BACK
POWERED BY RGV DGC!

This will by my 3rd year hosting it and it promises to be bigger and better then ever!

This year will feature a “new” pop up course being at Edinburg Municipal Park aka
Doolittle park. The club first ever pop up course was held there close to 10 years ago!

This time around we will be playing around Both lakes, the second being made recently. After the round (18 holes total) I’ll be preparing a classic RGV SouthernCrawfish boil. With all the fixings.

I love not only eating but also cooking mud bugs and I’d love for everyone who hasn’t yet to get a taste of what a crawfish boil is, not just the food aspect but everyone standing A table just enjoying life with one another.

The Date will be MAY 19, 2024
Time 10 AM
The cost will be $15 per person
10 for purse - 5 for food
The course is already registered on Udisc and the layout should be finalized some time this week so players can have some time to walk the layout and get a feel for that they are in for.

It’s not going to be easy, and there will be lost discs. Imagine fountain hills with more humidity lol.lots of over the water shots and even a Par 4 thrown in.

Richard Striebel and I will be out there this week to finalize the details of the layout and submit it to UDisc. There will be a lot of moving parts to this event so if you feel you can help contribute in Any way reach out.

Plenty of amenities for the whole family so If you know somebody that’s is interested in playing, a co worker that seems interested, a cousin a friend bring them down and help us GROWTHE SPORT
