Spent this weekend coaching at the 2026 USA Modern Pentathlon National Championships. Located on the UNC Charlotte campus / USA National Performance Center

For those unfamiliar, Modern Pentathlon is composed of Fencing, Swim, Obstacle and Laser/Run.

Crazy long 14 hour day of competition because of weather delay. The brilliance of spectacular stadium lights and comfortable temps hosted final performances.

To the IconOne Family,

Today a valued member of our family grew wings. It is with genuine heartbreak I share Daisy’s passing. Her mind was strong but her body was too tired to carry on. It was time.

Her joyful spirit graced all of us with abundant energy and soft nature. Although small, she was big at heart and definitely mighty. Especially during covid she showed love to all brining a smile and levity to ease any dark thoughts and fears. She carried tears, despair and literally the weight of the world on her little body. Run a 5k or sit for a big hug- she did it all.

Daisy is genuinely going to be missed. May her spirit run free and follow whatever mischief her nose finds.
