Obama denied the SEALS We know that there was realtime video, we know urgent communications were sent asking for help. Why was it DENIED?

Why were the Seals at the CIA outpost ordered to stand down? When they unable to comply with that order (becasue it goes against their training) they went into action. Then trouble followed them back and they died at least one at his weapon and the position that the mortars were being launched from painted with a targeting laser.
