OKAY!!! This crazy Texas weather caused us to miss our first event. They rescheduled it and we just kept grinding! Only dance competed this past weekend, cheer hits the mat this coming weekend.

My babies CAME OUT THE GATE SWINGIN'!!! Texas Gems had an absolutely AMAZING weekend! I will definitely post pictures in a few days, but I couldn't wait to tell you how proud we are of these babies.

They competed Saturday at Redline Small Program Super Nationals and Sunday at Redline Texas Dance Nationals in Frisco, TX. Here's how it went...

By chance, at a recent lunch date with my coaches the word "GEMSgiving" was used because it was our little Thanksgiving get together. Well, later on I thought, why not give it a double meaning? So, now we have...

GEMS Giving!!! It has always been my desire for us to give back whenever we can and so this is just the beginning... 🙂

This year we partnered with The Happy Kids Foundation and was able to donate a large box overflowing with toys to be given to the young girls and boys at St. PJ's Children's Home. It is a safe refuge for children in crisis.

I am overjoyed that we are able to, in some small way, help others have a Merry Christmas! 🎁
