This is a video of my hard working junior student Kylie. She is just learning how to serve, so learning the mechanics is imperative. Throughout this video you will hear her explain what she needs to correct after each missed serve.

Things to note:
Corrections on toss, moving into the court during the serve, and following through properly are items she is working on.

Tennis is a game we can play our entire lives!
USTA League Tennis is an opportunity to play competitive tennis and be apart of a team!

Here is a great example of why tennis is so amazing:

COVID-19 took away playoffs, sectionals and nationals for the 2020 USTA Men’s 40+ 3.5 leagues.
A few weeks ago Coach Justin from Family tennis (also the captain of two teams at the JCC) received a call from the captain of the Corpus Christi league champions to schedule a sectionals match of our own.
Result: 2 matches at 10am and 2pm at the Corpus Athletic Club followed by a team dinner with both teams on August 15, 2020.

This is a great way for tennis players to enjoy the game and competitive tennis during these trying times! Do not let the pandemic get you down. This sport can get us through the tough times.
