Owner of JB Underdogs — where I teach kids to hit bombs, compete, stop overthinking, and occasionally give their parents heart attacks. 💣
I coach baseball, softball, my own kids, everybody else’s kids… and somehow still show up to work like everything is normal.
My truck is basically a sporting goods store on wheels.
My phone stays dying.
My schedule stays full.
My voice stays gone.
And somehow I still say, “Yeah, I can squeeze you in.” 🤦♂️
There’s probably a tee, glove, Tidal Tank, bucket of balls, random cleat, or somebody’s water bottle rolling around in my truck right now.
And if your kid gets too close to the cage, be careful… one wrong step and suddenly they’re doing tee work, fixing their load, and getting told, “Again.” 😂
I believe in hard work, accountability, competition, quality over quantity, and making athletes uncomfortable enough to actually improve.
No magic drills.
No fairy dust.
No “my kid hits .900 in practice.”
We WORK over here. 😈
I’m not trying to build robots. I’m trying to develop DOGS who can compete, think, adjust, fail, learn, and come back better.
If your kid wants easy, I’m probably not the coach.
If they want to work, compete, get challenged, and actually improve…
