π Chronicles of a Lifelong Athlete π
π₯ Cheers to not needing surgery!π₯
Compounding knee injuries over the years and landed myself a sprained MCL, fringe cartilage issues behind the knee cap, and a ruptured baker's cyst. Owie. All that, and I've been able to walk - sometimes with the support of crutches when bopping around town - and maintain a regular schedule. Best possible scenario when thinking of all my knees have achieved in this life. It pays to be strong! πͺ
Ugly ass brace, 6-12 weeks of PT, a cortisone shot, and the love and support of Nico Wildeboer (sometimes with ice cream!). Small set back; I'll advance exponentially when we're on the other side. π And I'm about to get really good at pull ups.
