After a tough opening tournament in August, the Rangers bounced back this weekend with a Gold Bracket Runner-Up finish. 🥈⚾️

These boys showed a lot of grit and character, and we couldn’t be more proud of how they responded. There were definitely some ups, some downs, and probably a few more gray hairs for the coaches and parents. 😂

Big thanks to all the families and supporters who continue to get these boys where they need to be and cheer them on every step of the way.

The foundation is being set for great things. Proud of this group!

After another outstanding tryout this week, we’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with so many talented young athletes. The enthusiasm from players, families, and coaches has been overwhelming.

Because of the tremendous interest—and thanks to additional coaches stepping up—we’re excited to officially announce a second Rowan Rangers 10U team this fall.

Our goal is to build one unified program, with both teams practicing and receiving instruction together at least once each week while competing on separate rosters.

To complete both teams, we’ll hold one final tryout on Monday, June 29, at 6:00 PM at Ellis Park (3541 Old Mocksville Rd, Salisbury).

Rosters for both teams will be finalized in the coming days after the final tryout.

If you know a player who may be interested, please help us spread the word. We can’t wait to get this program started!⚾️

We had a great turnout at our first Rowan Rangers tryout earlier this week, and we're incredibly thankful for everyone who came out. It's clear there is a strong desire for a local team that emphasizes player development, healthy competition, and having fun while playing the game the right way.

The talent, effort, and enthusiasm on display made a tremendous first impression. With one final tryout remaining, it's already obvious that our coaching staff will have some difficult decisions ahead. We appreciate every player and family who has shown interest in being part of the Rangers, and we're excited for what's ahead.

Thank you again for the support. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the field Monday evening. ⚾️

For players who attended last week's tryout, you're welcome to attend again, but it is not required.

Every journey begins with a single step. Tonight, the Rowan Rangers take ours. We're excited to start building a team, a culture, and memories that will last far beyond this season.

For tryouts, only one of the two sessions is needed, but if your player wants to attend tonight and next Monday, that is perfectly fine. There will be a short registration form to complete prior to each session.

Open to any player that will not turn 11 before May 1, 2027.

Based on the interest and inquiries we’ve received so far, it feels like something special is starting to take shape. We can’t wait to meet the players and families who are interested in being part of it.

Welcome to the official Rowan Rangers 10U page! ⚾️

We’re excited to start building something special in Rowan County — a team focused on teaching the game the right way, developing players, competing hard, and keeping baseball fun.

Right now, we’re in the planning stages, but things are moving quickly. Stay tuned for more information on tryouts, which we expect to hold around mid-June.

Our plan for the fall season is to play roughly five tournaments in nearby areas such as Mocksville, Statesville, and Clemmons. We know travel ball can be a big commitment, so some events will be single-day or one-night tournaments to help keep things manageable for families.

If your player loves baseball, works hard, and wants to grow in the game, we’d love to connect.
