This week was Senior Night. A night we always pictured you spending under the Friday night lights, standing alongside the boys you grew up with and spent the last 14 years playing football with.
But instead, we spent it at the racetrack. And you know what? I wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else. ❤️
Life doesn’t always turn out the way we once pictured it, and sometimes the dreams we chase change along the way. But watching you find something you truly love, chase your own dreams, and make your own path has been one of my greatest joys as your mama.
I may not have been cheering for you from the football stands on Senior Night, but I was right where I belonged—standing at that fence, cheering on my favorite driver.
And whether you’re wearing shoulder pads or a racing suit, one thing will never change. I’ll always be your biggest fan.
