At Columbia University, a student once dozed off during a math lecture. When he woke up, he noticed two problems written on the board. Thinking they were homework, he copied them down to solve later.

At home, he realized the problems were extremely difficult. But instead of giving up, he spent hours in the library, digging through materials and working tirelessly until he found solutions.

At the next lecture, he was surprised when the professor didn’t collect the “assignment.” Curious, the student asked:
“Professor, why didn’t you ask for the homework from last time?”

The professor replied:
“Homework? Those weren’t assignments. Those were examples of unsolved mathematical problems—questions no one in the world had been able to solve.”

Shocked, the student responded:
“But… I solved them.”

And indeed, his solutions were verified, published, and even displayed at Columbia University.

This story reminds us of one powerful truth: the only reason he succeeded was because he didn’t know it was “impossible.” He believed it could be solved—and so he did.

💡 Lesson: Never let other people’s doubts define your limits. Many give up before they start because they are told it cannot be done. But you—yes, YOU—are capable of far more than you imagine.

Keep going. Try again. Don’t quit. ✨

I began my Facilitator vocation in 1988. One of the first Train-the-Trainer classes I attended taught that Adults are just bigger children and the more trauma and wounding one has as a child—the more challenges, problems, and issues one has as an adult. Then I went to school for a Human Services Degree and learned that most issues you will deal with in your life are formed by the age of 3! REALLY??

My journey as an Alcohol and Drug counselor, Family Matrix Facilitator, and a Rapid Eye Technician and Trainer have shown this early childhood influence on our lives IS TRUE.

At Souls With Stamina (SWS); we explore what is in the way of you attaining your dreams/goals. Not everyone wants to be a leader, but it is in leadership skills/tools that one IS ABLE to create what they say they want in life!

So, studying Leadership and RELEASING everything from stinkin’ thinkin’ to deep personality disorders is valuable and creates lasting positive change. AND you get to do it with a TEAM and a COMMUNITY at your back. Even if you think you don’t need the experience of SWS—your family needs you to be breaking negative generational patterns and issues. Want to do something cool for your children? DO YOUR OWN PERSONAL WORK, it effects generations backwards and forwards. As you look at your kids or the kids and people you effect in life—you’ll know what needs to be done. Take the feedback showing up in your life. Come HAVE FUN while you do important SOUL WORK.

And that is one reason why you want to join the Souls With Stamina Community. The only time I have seen the SWS experience not work for individuals is when they won’t get off their phones and they keep missing portions of class. That is why I say...prepare to come—get your life in order, job handled, animals handled, kids cared for, respite care for people you care for, and invest 8 days in YOU.
