Saturday and Sunday were both just too darn hot for my liking. Both reaching over 100. Today, however was a little more forgiving with only a high of 91 and a nice cool morning. I went for a short two hour creek wade at sunrise. Was nice out, with a nice breeze and tons of leaves already falling off the trees. caught a couple of smallmouth bass and a nice shadow bass, using an old school technique of just a 3 inch white curlytail grub with a 1/8 VMC mooneye jig head.
