Farmington Varsity Knights Defeat Fredericktown Varsity Ladycats In Nail-Biter

Farmington Varsity Knights got out to a 4-run lead in the third inning and held on for a 5-4 victory over Fredericktown Varsity Ladycats on Tuesday. Fredericktown Varsity Ladycats closed the gap by scoring on a double and a single.

Farmington Varsity Knights got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Fredericktown Varsity Ladycats committed an error, and Kam Kennedy flew out, each scoring one run.

Farmington Varsity Knights added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Kylen Knight doubled to center field, Fredericktown Varsity Ladycats committed an error, and Andie Hogan grounded out, each scoring one run.

Hogan stepped in the circle first for Farmington Varsity Knights. The starter gave up five hits and four runs (three earned) over five and one-third innings, striking out one and walking three. Michaela Reagan led things off in the circle for Fredericktown Varsity Ladycats. The starting pitcher allowed seven hits and five runs (zero earned) over six innings, striking out four and walking none. Kennedy pitched one and two-thirds innings of scoreless ball for Farmington Varsity Knights in relief. The hurler gave up two hits, striking out none and walking none.

Kennedy, Knight, and Hogan each drove in one run for Farmington Varsity Knights. Tristan Williams went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Farmington Varsity Knights in hits. Farmington Varsity Knights turned two double plays in the game.

Reagan, Abby Rehkop, Brylie Allgier, Averee Kelley, Brooklynn Josifek, Jonsyn Rehkop, and Cora Couch each collected one hit for Fredericktown Varsity Ladycats. Reagan and Josifek each drove in one run for Fredericktown Varsity Ladycats.

Farmington Varsity Knights Defeats Lady Raiders On Back Of Clutch Display From Tristan Williams

Tristan Williams drove in seven runs on three hits to lead Farmington Varsity Knights past Lady Raiders 15-6 on Thursday. Williams hit a grand slam to left field in the second scoring four, doubled in the third scoring two, and doubled in the first scoring one.

Lady Raiders opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two doubles. Lady Raiders first got on the board when Madalyn Jaco (Jr) doubled, scoring one run.

Farmington Varsity Knights made the score 4-2 in the bottom of the first after Kylen Knight doubled, scoring one run, Williams doubled, scoring one run, and Kam Kennedy homered to left field, scoring two runs.

Lady Raiders tied the game in the top of the second thanks to a single by Isla Douglas (So), and a double by Sophie Rackley (Jr).

In the bottom of the second, Farmington Varsity Knights broke up the tie when Williams hit a grand slam to left field. Then a single by Andi Hogan followed to extend the lead to 9-4.

Farmington Varsity Knights scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the third inning. Knight singled, scoring one run, Williams doubled, scoring two runs, and Hogan singled, scoring two runs.

Kennedy opened the game for Farmington Varsity Knights. The pitcher allowed nine hits and six runs (four earned) over seven innings, striking out three and walking one. Meredith Carroll (Fr) began the game for Lady Raiders. The starter surrendered eight hits and nine runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking two.

Farmington Varsity Knights accumulated 15 hits in the game. Knight and Williams were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Farmington Varsity Knights while hitting back-to-back. Kennedy, Jay Payne, Jayden Abernathy, and Hogan each collected multiple hits for Farmington Varsity Knights.

Douglas (So) and Carroll (Fr) each collected two hits for Lady Raiders. Rackley (Jr), Douglas (So), Jaco (Jr), Madison-Anne Carroll (Sr), and Marissa Lanting (Fr) each drove in one run for Lady Raiders. Lady Raiders turned one double play in the game.

Kylen Knight Leads Farmington Varsity Knights Past DeSoto

Kylen Knight collected three hits in three at bats, as Farmington Varsity Knights defeated DeSoto 10-0 on Friday. Knight doubled in the first inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the second inning.

Farmington Varsity Knights jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Knight doubled, scoring one run, Kam Kennedy doubled, scoring two runs, and Jay Payne singled, scoring two runs.

Farmington Varsity Knights added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Knight singled, Kennedy doubled, and Andi Hogan hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

Hogan earned the win for Farmington Varsity Knights. The starter allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out five and walking none.

Jayden Abernathy collected two hits for Farmington Varsity Knights in three at bats.

Cheyenne Kincaid went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead DeSoto in hits.

Farmington Varsity Knights welcome Northwest on Monday for their next game.
