This weekend, our team exemplified unyielding spirit and resolve at the 2026 Armed Forces Slugfest. What began with uncertainty transformed into unshakeable confidence after Saturday's stellar performance, which dispelled doubts about our team's potential. Dominant wins in the first two games, including a nail-biting 9-7 victory where we withstood a late-game surge and an impressive 11-4 triumph, secured the top seed in pool play and positioned us for a strong championship run. On Sunday, grit and determination defined our team's gritty 8-7 walk-off win in the first game, overcoming an early deficit. This momentum propelled us into the championship game against the number 2 team, where we faced a 7-run deficit in the 3rd inning. Yet, unwavering resolve and perseverance sparked a stunning comeback, culminating in a 13-11 victory that showcased our capacity to overcome adversity and thrive under pressure.
