As season ticket holders during the Tampa Bay Devil Rays Inaugural season, the McKenney kids, Jennifer (age 9) and Raymond (age 7) began collecting batting practice balls and balls from their favorite Rays players. With no true purpose for the growing collection their father Jeff suggested they begin collecting autographs. Before long the family amassed a collection which contained one autographed
baseball from every player and coach of the new MLB franchise. Since that first year the family has enjoyed their efforts to keep the collection up-to-date and can continue to stake claim to holding an individually signed autographed baseball from each and every Rays player and coach to wear a uniform - regular season and postseason - since that inaugural campaign 23 years ago. Check back regularly to see which players we've acquired autographs from as of late. Aside from one autographed baseball from each Rays newcomer, Jennifer tries to get each Rays all-star representative(s) to sign the commemorative ball from their respective year. We truly take pride in not badgering players for multiple autographs. To view photos of all the balls, click on the photos section. Each season's autographs have their own photo album to make browsing easy. As of the completion of the 2020 season we have 594 signed balls.
