The Varsity Girls Volleyball team is 4-1 overall after bringing in another win at home this past week against Oseola High School 🏐
During the match, Emma Satterfield ‘28 had 15 kills, 13 digs and an ace. Morgan Harrington ‘27 had 13 kills. Lucy Harris ‘29 had 8 kills and one block. Hayden Zielinski ‘29 had 18 assists.
Jesse Diner ‘28, our libero, was named Player of The Match.
“It was a true team effort,” said Assistant Coach Brittany Taksas. “It was a really fun night and we appreciate so many students also coming out to support their peers.”
The JV team fought hard but fell 1-2 against Oseola.
Both teams were coming off of away matches against Seminole High School. In that Varsity match on Tuesday, Sara Ferris ‘28 had 13 assists, two aces, a kill, and 6 digs. In the JV match, Marina Davidson ‘29 had 28 assists.
Both teams are back in action against Tampa Catholic High School next Wednesday, September 9.
