❤️⚔️🤼🏾‍♀️Harding's very own Charlize Laban! Though she is an amazing wrestler, she's an even better person. Congrats Charlize!

We’re excited to welcome Charlize-Mccharisma Laban from St. Paul, Minnesota to the Augustana Wrestling family! Charlize put together a historic high school career as the 2026 Harding Wrestler of the Year, becoming the highest state placer in school history and finishing among the program’s top three all-time female wins leaders. She is a 2026 MN/USA Freestyle & Greco State Champion, MN Section Champion and State Entrant, 2x All-Conference selection, and competed for the MN/USA National Team.

Her accomplishments extend well beyond the mat. Charlize is an Athena Award recipient, National Honor Society member, 4x A Honor Roll student, Academic All-Section honoree, Orchestra Honors member, and a recipient of the Girl Scouts Curiosity Changemaker Award.

Charlize has already proven she can make history, and we can’t wait to see what she does next in the Blue & Gold.

🏀❤️Has the Minnesota Women's Basketball players been in your gym?? Well, they were recently in ours at Saint Paul Harding! (The main Gym is getting fresh paint, so we were in the field house. ) Tori Oehrlein, Natalie Kussow, and Kylee Paben recently stopped by one of our summer practices for a Q and A with our players. What did we learn? A lot! We learned when they started playing organized basketball, when basketball started getting really serious, how many shots a day they take, when they started lifting weights, what fun things there are to do where they're from, and much more. Tori Oehrlein said, in high school she would make 1500 shots a day! Now we know what it takes to be a top scorer in Minnesota state history. Thank you all so much for stopping by Harding and making our last official summer practice, special. You have inspired us all!

❤️⚔️🏀The Lady Knights end the Pacesetter Sweet 16 with a big W over C**n Rapids, in what was their most balanced scoring effort of the tournament. The talented young hoopers finished the best of the best tournament with a 2-2 record. Big things are on the horizon! Congrats Ladies! Huge shout out to coach Samuel Gomez for doing such a great job in the tournament! We are all lucky to have you in our circle! Pacesetter Basketball

❤️⚔️🏀Sometimes with young teams that are destined to be great, they will beat the number 1 team, and the next day, they will lose to one of the lesser ranked teams in the tournament. The Lady Knights lose to Pequot Lakes in the last pool play game, 44-59. They will play C**n Rapids in the 7th place game at 1pm, with a chance to finish 2-2 in the biggest summer tournament in Minnesota. Growing pains are good. They will only make us stronger. We will live stream it on here.

❤️⚔️🏀The Lady Knights played a great game vs Albany in the 2nd round of pool play in the Pacesetter Sweet 16, but came up short at the end by a score of 61-56. They will play Pequot Lakes at 9am tomorrow morning with a chance at securing a spot in the 3rd place game with a victory. Nothing to be ashamed of. You are all proving you belong! Go Lady Knights!

❤️⚔️🏀Victory at the buzzer against the defending Class 4A state champions, Rosemount! Nessa Gullens with the cold-blooded, killer 3 ball at the buzzer!!! The Lady Knights are bursting onto the scene at the Sweet 16!

❤️⚔️🏀Big things just keep coming our way! The Lady Knights were invited to Minnesota's Pacesetter Sweet 16! This is an all-class, summer state tournament where they invite the top 4 teams from each class. This tournament has hosted the likes of Paige Bueckers, Tyus Jones, Tre Jones, and many other professionals. We know we are still working towards the distinction of being top 4 in 3A but they had a last minute opening and the girls seized the opportunity to compete with the best!
