Our good friend Jay passed away in his sleep last night.
Back in the day - Jay was a pro tournament player and switched to magfed in the early days of our beloved sport. A legendary member of deathstalkers_mfog , he will always be remembered for his love of the game and his dedication to precision shooting… also for his generosity and ridiculous sense of humor.
He fought a long hard battle with cancer that not many in the paintball community knew about.
One of the toughest, kindest men I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing.
Please keep his family, friends, and teammates in your thoughts and prayers.
It’s also important to note that if I hadn’t met Jay Vogel and Brotha Goose — I would have never met any of you ballers reading this.
Those 2 gentlemen reignited my love for paintball through magfed and have guided me along this adventure I share with y’all.
I love you all.
Remember that life is short. Enjoy every minute of it.
