Progress isn’t always linear.
The picture on the left was the day Jamo hit 60 MPH exit velocity for the first time. We celebrated it because it was a milestone he had worked hard to reach.
The picture on the right was today — 70 MPH exit velocity and a 240-foot bomb. 🚀
What you don’t see are the months in between. The sessions where the numbers didn’t move. The days he felt stuck. The adjustments, failures, frustrations, and lessons that come with real development.
Too often, players (and parents) expect growth to happen in a straight line. It rarely does. Real progress looks more like a series of peaks, valleys, plateaus, and breakthroughs.
The players who keep showing up, trust the process, and stay committed through the tough stretches are usually the ones who eventually separate themselves.
Proud of this young stud and the work he’s put in. This is what player development looks like. 👊
