is always a good time 🏁

Braxton had a great time! Its fun to watch him switch into race mode πŸ’ͺ Overall placing 4th in 50 7-8 and 6th in 50 open. Only a few minor tip overs set him back in 50 open but he came back swinging from almost dead last out of 25 kids on the line to passing his way up to 6th.

Onto regionals in Iowa next week!

Thanks to our 2026 sponsors!

Quick update on Brax! His arm is healing well. He's on strict restrictions, but thankfully no sling unless needed now.

Back to the orthopedic surgeon on July 2nd. We are hoping they'll tell us he can ride his pedal bike, go swimming, and just be more of a kid then hes been able to be since surgery.

Hardware removal in August, then hopefully back on his bike in September for the end of the season. Sure has been tough to be away from the track.

One tough cookie!

After Braxton's crash on Saturday we visited the Orthopedic surgeon in GF on Monday. He noted Braxton's injury in theory should heal on its own but will take many years to reform. He also left us with the option of surgery which speeds up recovery time and helps place the bone correctly. After weighing the pros and cons we opted for surgery.

Dr. Hesse and his team at Altru did a fantastic job. The Dr. noted his arm was not only broken and overlapping but was severely twisted as well. He used the analogy of peddling a bike backwards to get his bone back into place.

Although a bummer he'll be off his bike for 14 weeks we will give him the time needed to rest and heal up before jumping back into moto life. πŸ’ͺ

As his uncle says there are 2 types of moto racers. Those who have broken bones and those who haven't πŸ˜†

Special thanks to everyone who has reached out. He is feeling the love πŸ’“

DMC Motorsports thank you for the balloon and dog that was delivered to his room after surgery. He loved waking up to see it there. πŸ’—

Braxton experienced a challenging day, as a minor crash resulted in a severe break in his arm πŸ€•. Despite being disheartened about his injury, he is eager to dedicate time to recovery and return stronger πŸ’ͺ.

We would like to extend a special shout out to our newest sponsor Shelly Guzek Realtor at Hometown Realty, THANK YOU for supporting Braxton's motocross adventures πŸπŸ‘

He will resume riding as soon as possible. He has already asked 10 times when he can ride again πŸ₯΄

Braxton got an upgrade to a Cobra 65 bike! He had a bit of a learning curve with the clutch, but picked it up in about 30 minutes last night πŸ‘ He still has another year on his 50, so he'll now race both! 🏁 Big thanks to our Cobra dealer and Sponsor JS Performance, LLC β€”the bike arrived much sooner than we anticipated! 🀘
