Dear BMX Riders and Families,
It’s with mixed emotions that I share the news of my resignation as President of the St. Helen’s BMX Group, effective December 20, 2025. I’ve accepted an exciting new role with a company in the Seattle-Tacoma area, which means I’ll soon be relocating.
This new opportunity is one I’ve dreamed about for years, but saying goodbye to such an incredible community of riders and families is tough. Together, we’ve built something special here — a BMX family that’s passionate, supportive, and dedicated to the sport. Your commitment to the track, to each other, and to the growth of BMX in Oregon has been nothing short of inspiring.
As I reflect on our journey, I’m in awe of how far we’ve come. From the youngest riders to the seasoned pros, every person who’s been a part of this journey has played an essential role in helping our track and our sport grow. You’ve helped make our events something special and have created a space where everyone — no matter their age or skill level — feels welcome and supported.
Though I’m relocating out of state, I’m not stepping away from BMX. In fact, I’ll be back in action in 2026 — ready to race again, fully healed, and excited to rejoin the BMX community. Until then, I’m here to support all of you however I can. Whether you need advice, guidance, or just a cheerleader from afar, I’ll always be here to offer support and encouragement.
Thank you to each rider, family member, volunteer, and supporter for your unwavering dedication. You’ve helped make St. Helens BMX — and BMX in Oregon — a force to be reckoned with. It’s because of you that we’ve been able to host some of the most exciting events in the region and develop a truly competitive, welcoming BMX scene.
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this incredible community. I look forward to seeing how you continue to grow and shape the future of BMX in Oregon, and I’ll be cheering each of you on from wherever I am.
Thank you again for all the memories, the laughs, and the countless hours you’ve invested in making BMX a family tradition here in Oregon.
Warmest regards,
Tim
