⛳ One of my favorite things about PGA Jr. League has nothing to do with golf.

Don't get me wrong.

I love watching players hit longer drives, make more putts, and shoot lower scores.

But what excites me most is watching kids grow.

The quiet player who starts making friends.

The nervous beginner who starts believing in themselves.

The older player who takes a younger teammate under their wing.

The child who learns that one bad shot doesn't define their day.

That's what PGA Jr. League is really about.

Golf gives us the opportunity.

Confidence, friendships, leadership, and life lessons are what grow from it.

And the best part?

It happens while kids are having fun, competing as a team, and learning a game they can enjoy for the rest of their lives.

As a coach, that's pretty special to watch. ❤️

Mother Nature is currently undefeated and has officially won today's practice. 😅

Due to inclement weather, tonight's practice has been canceled.

The golf course is wet, the skies are grumpy, and even Coach Roger couldn't negotiate a better forecast. ☔

Stay dry, stay safe, and we'll see everyone back on the course Saturday!

PGA Jr League Energy ⛳🔥

Today was one of those days we’ll all remember. ❤️

The kids arrived early for practice, the rain rolled in, then suddenly the clouds cleared and the Florida heat showed up fast. Everyone pushed through it like champs and did such a great job practicing their drives before tee time.

Today was girls vs. boys and the boys barely pulled out the win by ONE stroke on the final hole… though those sand traps definitely gave the girls some extra bunker practice today 😂⛳

By Hole 4, we could see the storm rolling in from both directions, so the kids went into full ready-play mode encouraging each other, hustling, laughing, and making every shot count before the lightning arrived.

We made it back to the clubhouse just in time before the skies opened up. Afterward, families stayed for appetizers, drinks, laughs, races outside, tag, Simon Says, cats cradle, and even saying hello to a turtle crossing the course. 🐢❤️

This is what junior golf is really about.

Friendships.
Confidence.
Family.
Teamwork.
Community.

Huge thank you to Royal St. Cloud Golf Links for always supporting our PGA Jr League families and helping make these memories possible.

And to the incredibly kind family who secretly covered appetizers and treats for everyone tonight… thank you. That meant so much to all of us and was such a thoughtful surprise. ❤️

Big day for our Florida Junior Golf family today at the Drive, Chip & Putt Challenge at Mission Resort + Club on the legendary El Campeón & Las Colinas courses. ⛳️☀️

One of the coolest parts about junior golf is the friendships and community that come with it. Today we ran into several familiar faces and golf friends from all across Central Florida while the kids competed, laughed, learned, and made memories together.

This was Oliver’s THIRD time competing in Drive, Chip & Putt, and Jodi’s VERY FIRST time ever! Watching their excitement, nerves, confidence, and smiles throughout the day reminded us exactly why experiences like this matter so much for young golfers. ❤️

For families who may not know, Drive, Chip & Putt is an incredible nationwide junior golf competition created by the USGA, PGA of America, and The Masters Tournament. Kids get to compete in three core golf skills:

⛳ Driving
⛳ Chipping
⛳ Putting

It’s beginner-friendly, confidence-building, and honestly just a really fun experience for kids whether they are brand new to golf or already competitive players.

Why we love it for junior golfers:
