Our Fearless Female Athlete of the Week in our Middle School division is Rylan Thierrien!
In week 5, Rylan was a beast on both sides of the ball, pulling lots of flags on defense and scoring two TD’s on offense! Rylan was also able to read what the offense was doing and that helped her and her teammates make adjustments to make the defense stronger! That’s leadership at its finest! After her breakout game, we all know Rylan is a natural born leader on the field, but here’s some things you may not know about her off of it:
Favorite subject in school: history
Favorite thing about flag football: “Being with my friends and learning new things to do in a game!”
Favorite Bible verse: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” - John 10:10
Favorite hobby: Volleyball and bedazzling
Something she wants everyone to know about her: “I love my team like my family!”
Congratulations, Rylan! You’ve come a long way over the past two seasons and we’ve loved watching you grow every single week! You are the perfect example of how hard work pays off. Keep working hard at everything you do and you will go far not only in flag football, but more importantly in life!
