“First time here with a large group. This course was very nicely laid out. The holes were challenging as a Par Two, when actually should have been a Par Three.

Very colorful with winding waterfalls, with the ocean seabreeze coming from the East. We had a nice time, with a large assortment of ice cream to choose from when you’re finished. One of the hidden gems of Saint Augustine Beach.”

FYI: Even with smaller surf, large and powerful rip currents are still present.
The best way to spot potential rip currents is to look at the beach at low tide. The deep pools and cut outs in the sandbars seen in picture 1, 2 and 4 will turn into strong rip currents with tidal change. As the tide fills in and there is greater volume of water and increased wave action the water will be forced out the narrow channels forming the rip currents.

SJC Lifeguards use rip current warning signs and flags to mark dangerous rips. With 42 miles of coastline it is not possible to mark everyone one. The safest place to swim is in front of a Lifeguard, if you can’t see us we cannot see you!! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1GJTpfsybR/
