Ok this is a bit off topic for this page but hear me out.
Those of you that have been in class with me and heard my intro and background know that I am a Scouter through and through, I volunteer a great deal of time teaching youth to safely handle, own and love fi****ms. In fact, I pause my robotics company for the month of June to volunteer me time staffing summer camp and teach shooting sports to youth and parents.
Why is this important to you? If you believe in the 2nd amendment and are not working with youth, you are aiding the anti-gun folks by allowing them to brainwash our kids in school and not providing a counter argument. At any time, we are only a couple of generations away from losing that right.
I just got the 2026 report on the long-term effects of Scouting, and it shows what I have known all along, Scouting builds a stronger healthier adult, but it needs folks like us.

We are instructors, we are teachers, we are coaches, we are leaders and we need to get involved in carving the path forward for today’s youth to be the adults we can be proud of tomorrow. Go out and get involved, do good things! If not in Scouting volunteer somewhere.
