This had all the makings of a really good evening after picking up the heat win earlier in the night, but the ring and pinion gears had different ideas 🤦. Started picking up a bad vibration about 2 laps prior to it letting go..

Weekend results:

Friday: Hibbing Tardy Memorial Race

*82 Super Stocks in attendance!*
*Heat finished 4th - top 2 advanced ❌️*
*B Main #2 finished 2nd after a good battle for the win - only the winner advanced ❌️*
*LCQ win and your in race - 1st place 🏁✅️*
*A Main 27th to 18th ⬆️*

What a night of racing at the Hibbing Speedway for the Tardy Memorial event! The group of individuals who put this event on did a great job and the turn out showed! 82 SUPER STOCKS plus a PACKED house!

The goal going into the night with so many cars was to make the show. After narrowly missing the win in B main #2 we qualified for the Win and your in LCQ race. Started 2nd and lead all 8 laps to take the win! Winning gave the option of taking $567 and being done for the night OR starting the big race in 27th and seeing how far we could go forward and hope to land on a better paying position. The choice was to race! Moved up 9 spots in the feature, car was driving really nice and rolling forward. Would have liked to see what more could have been done if a caution would have came out in the 2nd half of the race to tighten it back up but overall super happy to have been in the show! Ran a total of 64 laps on a HOT night, the ice cold beverages after were well deserved! 😉

Grand Rapids Speedway Saturday Night

4th to 3rd in the heat ⬆️
11th to DNF in the feature

Car was good in the heat. Track was fast and narrow so not a ton of movement. Started 11th in the A Main. Broke a ball joint about 10 laps in after hitting some rough spots in the corner. DNF. Got back to realize I had left my phone on top of the car going out for the feature.... after the races were over we searched around the track for quite some time and ended up finding my phone off of turn 2 in perfect working condition! That thing must have had quite a ride!

Also, Shoutout to Chad Larson Trucking for hooking me up with a couple tires on Saturday night from the parts trailer! Greatly appreciated!

In the heat we had a bad fast car & had fun battling for the lead with the 7a. Unfortunately in the feature we were caught in a first-corner wreck, ending our race.

We’re working on getting the car put back together to head to Proctor tonight.

Solid night of racing at the Ogilvie Raceway! The Big O has a history of not being to good to the 3B, but last night we finally got that monkey off our back!

Heat: Started 2nd finished 2nd
Feature: Started 4th finished 4th

Lead about half the heat race until settling into 2nd. Passing points put us starting 4th in the feature and jumped to 3rd right away where we stayed for a majority of the 25 lap Amain. After a caution bunched the field back up a bad run through the bumps let the 7A slip by and finished a solid 4th. Fun night of racing!
