life catch up from the past few months 🫶🏼🥳

feeling right in the middle of where i’ve been and where i’m going. moved from san diego to spend a few months with family in sac before moving to solano county in a few weeks once i get married

i’m wanting to cherish every last bit of “the in between”—
• soaking up all the time living closer to fam & longtime friends
• while still feeling connected to socal
• while stepping into a new church & community
• while wedding planning
• & learning a lot :)
• & preparing to be a wife
• & going for prayer drives, releasing my expectations, listening for what God’s saying, & being humbled and encouraged everytime He speaks

thankful for these “in between” seasons. they’re the best for pausing and preparing for where you’re going 🪩

it’s valentine’s day weekend! ✨

one thing i’m super passionate about is empowering, encouraging, & coaching people through their single season. it was through being single that i discovered my voice, my passion for encouraging others, and most importantly, the unconditional, pure, and perfect love of God.

out of this, i wrote an ebook, The Singles’ Guide and today is the 2 year anniversary of it! super humbled by some of the stories of how it’s helped people.

I remember hearing a quote that said, “You can be lonely for 5 years while waiting for the right person and have a happy marriage for 45; or you can rush into the wrong marriage now and be lonely for 50 years.”

Marriage is a beautiful, FOREVER commitment. Cheers to those holding out for an emotionally and spiritually healthy person to spend life with! One day you’ll be so thankful you waited and didn’t settle. ✨

Being single was one of my biggest fears. For years I only felt steady and complete if I was in a relationship or “talking” to someone.⁣

BUT I took a leap of faith and decided to find out who God made me to be...outside of a relationship.⁣
⁣
Through it, I’ve learned just how IMPORTANT singleness is. I found my passions, I found my voice, I found my purpose, I found GOD in a new way! ⁣

maybe you have feelings for someone and you’re afraid to tell them, maybe there’s a text you’re afraid to send, or a promotion you’re afraid to ask for, or you’re about to try zip-lining for the first time and you’re afraid to jump off the ledge...⁣

when i was 20, i had my future plans all mapped out—finish school, marry the guy i was dating at the time, get a good job, buy a nice house, have some kids, pay taxes, & die. it wasn’t until God asked me, ⁣⁣

SO, I laid down all my plans & traded them in for God’s. It’s been a crazy, challenging, refining, and beyond-fulfilling 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 living life God’s way.⁣⁣
