🎆 Help Us Light Up the 4th of July! 🎆

One of our biggest fundraisers of the year this year is our annual Fireworks Booth, and we need your help!

We're looking for volunteers to help staff the booth from June 28 through July 4 in 3-hour shifts between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM. We especially need support during the afternoon hours.

Whether you can give one shift or several, your time directly helps support our mission and the families we serve.

We currently offer 3 postpartum movement classes at The Root 🤍

Whether you are newly postpartum, rebuilding core strength, navigating pelvic floor symptoms, or simply looking for supportive movement and community, we have a class for you.

✨ Postpartum Pelvic Floor + Core Flow
Mondays at 10:30am
Gentle hypopressive-based movement to support postpartum healing, pelvic floor strength, prolapse support, and core reconnection.

✨ Postpartum Pilates
Tuesdays at 10:30am
Intentional low-impact Pilates focused on rebuilding core strength, stability, and pelvic floor support. Baby-wearing friendly and babies are welcome.

✨ Baby + Me Yoga
Wednesdays at 12pm
Gentle Vinyasa-style yoga for caregivers and babies ages 0–newly crawling. No yoga experience needed and non-birthing partners are welcome.

All classes are designed for real postpartum bodies in a welcoming, judgment-free space.

Bring the baby. Come as you are. 💛

Safe, screened donor milk supports families when it’s needed most and we’re here to help you learn how. 💛

Big Day of Giving may be over, but we’re still cracking up that TWO of y’all made donations during the 2am hour 😂🌙

Because of this incredible community, The Root raised $8,575 from 35 donors, and 77% were NEW supporters 🤍

We also had:
✨ 100% board giving
💫 A generous $5,000 donation match from a Friend of The Root

We may not have hit our $10K goal, but we gained something just as meaningful: new community members who believe in this work and the families we support.

To everyone who donated, whether at 2pm or 2am, thank you for showing up for us. We feel the love. 🤍
