XXL AdventureCross™️
Full build for a local customer, this guy is tall like
6 5”+ and never had a bike that fit him well.
He also didn’t want a bike that was all headtube (we have all seen those bikes!) or have it look disproportionate.
The AdventureCross™️ was the perfect platform for this built, given its extended top tube length and use of the Transfer dropper post, Boxcar stem mated with the M8 rider bar it gave him the handlebar height / standover and an adjustable seat height that tops out at his max pedaling position with huge help from a custom fit done by the master Kevin .velo.veritas.cyclery !
The final touch was an incredible powdercoat job by Chris !
The drop stay is nothing new, I’ve mentioned this before. But I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.
“Often imitated but never duplicated!”
More to the point if yer gonna copy my bikes, at least do a good job of it and give credit where credits is due. I recently had another builder copy a good portion of the original areas of this bikes design, give it its own name and when asked about it the builder said he copied the Flamamal and when I had messaged the customer he outright said they looked at my bike. I made some comments and even a humorous remark from my dog Winston’s IG account calling out the rip. This is a small industry guys, we can be better than that to other. Cut yer own trail, design yer own s**t! If people want what you build great, but do@t go copy another builder work just to sell a “custom” that’s bush league bulls**t at best!
