The Last game of the season for spring 2021 is in the books and it was a good one. The boys pulled off the win on Father’s day!!
Final score 16-9 vs 11u Norcal Mavericks
The Pondo bats were lead by #2 Mack Brown with 3 hits, 6 RBIS, and a 2 run bomb. Jett and Jack R had multiple hits on the day. Pondo defense came up making big plays rolled a pair up the middle for the third game in a row.
We had several pitchers on the bump all of which threw strikes. The photos speak for themselves. Although I will say my favorite is the one of Evan Shea number 10 leading the team in stretches. The boys are having a blast and have really become a team this past season. Super fun to watch.
We want to thank the coaches, the parents and other volunteers in this community that help make this possible for our club..
The coaches especially would like to thank our players for working hard on and off the field.

10u Pondo Patriots Holds Off Sierra Nevada Wolves 10U For Victory

10u Pondo Patriots got out to a five-run lead in the fourth inning and held on for a 13-11 victory over Sierra Nevada Wolves 10U on Sunday. Sierra Nevada Wolves 10U put up four runs in the failed comeback. Ryan G, Mason R, and John G powered the rally with RBIs.
Braiden L collected five hits in five at bats to help lead 10u Pondo Patriots to victory. Braiden doubled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the fourth, singled in the fifth, and singled in the seventh.
Sierra Nevada Wolves 10U took an early lead in the second inning. Ethan C drew a walk, scoring one run.
10u Pondo Patriots took the lead for good with eight runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Austin D singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs, Kade C homered on a 3-0 count, scoring two runs, Mack B hit a solo homer, an error scored one run for 10u Pondo Patriots, and Trea I singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.
Austin led things off on the pitcher's mound for 10u Pondo Patriots. The fireballer lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing three hits and five runs while striking out three.
Ethan was on the pitcher's mound for Sierra Nevada Wolves 10U. Ethan lasted two innings, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out two and walking zero.
10u Pondo Patriots tallied two home runs on the day. Kade had a homer in the fourth inning. Mack put one out in the fourth inning.
10u Pondo Patriots tallied 18 hits in the game. Braiden, Kade, Easton I, Wyatt R, Jett G, Mack, and Austin all had multiple hits for 10u Pondo Patriots. Braiden led 10u Pondo Patriots with five hits in five at bats. 10u Pondo Patriots tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Easton led the way with two.
Sierra Nevada Wolves 10U totaled 12 hits in the game. Mason, Reid M, Ryan, and John each collected multiple hits for Sierra Nevada Wolves 10U. Mason went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Sierra Nevada Wolves 10U in hits. Reid led Sierra Nevada Wolves 10U with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases.

The Boys rolled out of bed This morning after a two week break from baseball
They Hosted the always competitive Rockilin 65s.
The Pondo boys did not disappoint!!
The bats were on fire 🔥 🔥 The defense was even hotter 🔥 The boys threw strikes and made some legit plays!!
The Team combined for 24 hits 16 runs 9 stolen bases.
We had two players hit home runs
Mack Brown With Home run #2 on the season
And Big Kade Carroll!!! With his first of the season! Kade went 6-7 On the day.

Final score 16-4

The Boys came out swinging tonight!! The bats were hot from the start fueling a dominate victory over the Golden Spikes.
Final score 8 inning game 27 -11

I think we only had one piece of kindling wood afterwards.. Lol Retail wood bats 👎🏻
