🚨 WEATHER ALERT: THE REEF IS CLOSED (BUT THE TANK IS OPEN!) 🚨

Well, Mother Nature decided to throw a temper tantrum in the Keys today, so the boat is stayed tied up. But you really think a little wind is going to stop Brandon and Kyle? Absolutely not.

We’ve officially moved the expedition... indoors. We’re currently snorkeling in an aquarium in Marathon! 🐠🏠

THE MISSION LOG:

🌊 Visibility: 100% (mostly because there’s glass and a Windex guy nearby).

🦈 Apex Predators: One very confused pufferfish and a plastic treasure chest.

📢 The Josh Situation: He’s currently tiny enough to hitch a ride on a Seahorse. We’ve lost him twice in the coral already, and every time he shouts for help, it sounds like a squeaky toy stuck in a vacuum cleaner. 🐭🔊

Kyle: "Did you hear that? Sounded like a cricket."
Brandon: "No, that’s just Josh. He’s trying to tell us a grouper is looking at him funny."

Don't worry, everyone—we’ve got a firm grip on the "Little Man." We’ve promised not to let any of the snapper mistake him for a snack. 🍿🚫

🚨 CAUTION: HIGH-VOLTAGE HYPE IN TRANSIT 🚨

Lock your doors and hide your lobster, because Brandon and Kyle have officially breached the mainland and are hurtling toward the Keys in a red Ford dually that’s 40% truck, 60% pure unadulterated adrenaline. 🛻💨

If you’re driving the Overseas Highway today and you see a blur of red chrome and two grown men screaming at a seagull because it “looks like it knows where the secret reef is,” don't be alarmed.

That’s just them.

THE TRIP STATS:

🌡️ Hype Level: Higher than the gas prices.
🔊 Cab Volume: Somewhere between a jet engine and a heavy metal concert.

🤿 Gear Status: They have enough tanks to stay underwater until 2027.

🥪 Snack Inventory: Already gone. They ate three days' worth of beef jerky before they hit Florida City.

Brandon is currently navigating via "vibes" and Kyle is pointing at every body of water larger than a puddle yelling, "IS THAT THE REEF?!" 🌊🤪

🚨 URGENT: BOB HAS BEEN FOUND 🚨

We finally located Bob. He was floating somewhere in the middle of the Gulf, just... doing "Bob things." We’re not sure if he was trying to communicate with sea cucumbers or if he just forgot which way was up, but Brandon had to swoop in and perform a full-scale extraction before Bob became part of the local reef system.

The good news? Bob is safe.

The weird news? Bob is currently the only person signed up for our upcoming Rescue Diver course.

Look, we love Bob, but Brandon can’t spend the whole weekend just practicing how to keep Bob from drifting toward Mexico. We need more targets—err, students—to join the fray!

😵 MONDAY MORNING UPDATE: THE BRANDON INFESTATION CONTINUES 😵

"Happy Monday from Hernando Beach Scuba! We’d love to say the shop is back to normal after yesterday’s Sunday Funday, but we have a bit of a 'pest' problem. Specifically, we still have about 14 Brandons lurking in the shadows.

We found one trying to 'turbo-charge' the coffee pot this morning, and another is currently hiding in the gear room trying to convince customers that a backwards tan hat is a required piece of buoyancy control.

In other news... we are officially kicking off our next round of Open Water Classes! 🤿

If you’ve ever wanted to learn to dive, now is the perfect time. Our instructors (the real ones, we think) are ready to get you certified and comfortable in the water. Just ignore the guy in the corner whispering about how outboard motors make better propulsion than fins—he’s harmless, mostly.
