Every practice, every game, and every lesson is another brick added to that foundation.

It won’t be built overnight. But we’re committed to building it the right way, with hard work, character, accountability, and a love for the game. We’re grateful for every player, every parent, every coach, and every supporter who’s helping build the foundation with us.

Every name has a story. Ours starts right here in Ruston. 🪨

Ruston was built by hardworking men and women who weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. From the railroads and timber industry to the quarries, construction, and manufacturing that helped shape our community, grit has always been part of who we are.

That’s why we chose the name Rockhounds.

A rockhound is someone who searches for something valuable hidden beneath the surface. That’s exactly what we’re about—developing character, uncovering potential, and building young athletes through hard work, discipline, and teamwork.

Meet Hank, the face of our program.

He’s more than a mascot.

He represents every player who shows up ready to work, every coach who invests in our kids, and every family that’s helping build something special.
