I dont have the means to do an authentic color case hardened finish but I am going to give this method a try. A company called Steel/Fx produces patina gels that chemically replicate a color care finish. This will be a fun experiment.

Next project on deck. A 1940 LC Smith 12 gauge double barrel. This gun is in amazing condition. Only will be bluing the barrels and trigger guard. LC Smith was an American shotgun manufacturer started in 1888 until 1945 when shortly sold to Hunter Arms before being bought by Marlin. These guns are hard to find in this condition. This will be available once finished.
