This past weekend our runners competed at the Brian T. Simpson memorial cross country meet. This also happens to be our Central State 8 Conference meet. We had the opportunity to have 19 students compete along with a full high school boys team. We finished with 4 Brian T. Simpson medalists, and an impressive 7 All Conference runners, including 2 runners up across the 4 divisions. The High school boys team finished runner up. We are so proud of all of our athletes!

Another fun couple weeks in the books for our runners. We got to go to Hermitage for one of the biggest meets of the year. Just shy of 1,000 athletes ran across the different grades/ divisions (998). We happily had 3 medalists and a handful of personal bests.

Today we stayed close to home and ran at Binder Park. A much different race than last week, but a challenging one nonetheless. We finished with 13 medalists, 2 individual race winners, a junior high boys 1st place finish, and a high school boys 1st place finish!

It’s been a busy week and a half for our Russellville runners! Last Wednesday we went to Vienna for our second high school meet, and our first JH meet. This was followed with a very short break before Linn’s race on Saturday. Finally yesterday we traveled to South Callaway where we had a very successful day. We were able to have our first meet with a JH boys team, we finished with 16 overall medalists, and a High school boys 1st place team finish!
We also have the privalage of recognizing Trae Jennewein as the Central State 8 Conference Runner of the week (9/7-9/12). Here are the results as well as a photo dump from the meetsz

The Cross Country team got their first taste of competition today in Jefferson City. It was a little different being a two mile race rather than your normal 5k, but the Indians still managed to medal in each division.
2 varsity girls, 4 varsity Boys, and 2 Jv boys Medalists. We are sure set up to have a competitive season all around!

⭐️Senior Night⭐️

Senior Night is finally here! It will be this upcoming Friday, December 13th, at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game. Games start at 6 pm with Courtwarming celebrations in between jv/v games.

What a crazy day for state. The boys came in 9th and showed so much grit in the eyes of adversity, as the weather went wild.

A special thank you to our seniors as the season comes to an end. They have been such great leaders for our underclassmen!
